Android: Tired of forgetting Pickle Club (Melbourne) offer today?

Anyone who live around Caulfield Melbourne should know that one of the most amazing thing in Caulfield is the Pickle Club in Mcdonald where we can get ridiculously bargain deal. What happened to me all the time is forgetting what is the codeword and offer for today and have to pull out my phone and wait for the darn slow Android facebook app to connect and view the offer today which is pretty annoying. And so, I decided to put a Pickle Club widget for my Android smartphone. Here's how.

This guide is only for those who has an Android powered smartphone (Most HTC phones, Samsung Galaxy S, Galaxy S2, Nexus S, Galaxy Nexus, etc). iPhone user definitely can do something similar but I don't have an iPhone to try.

1. Go to the Android market and search for an app called RSSWidgetBoard, download and install it.

2. Go to anywhere in the homescreen, tap and hold on the screen, choose widget and choose RSSWidgetBoard.(Except for Galaxy Nexus or anyone with Android 4.0 where you have to choose the widget from the app launcher) Any size would do but M seems good on most screen.

3. Type http://www.facebook.com/feeds/page.php?id=225116020864523&format=atom10 into the "http://" field.

4. Enter a name for it, choose the theme and press done.

5. There you go, Pickle Club widget!
